The size of the country, with the different climate zones makes the clothing in every part of India is different.  In the North of the country you will find a lot of wool and cashmere, cotton, in the South side of the native Silkworm and plastic. Cotton is the most common substance because the cotton plant is grown much in India.

The traditional dress is rich in colors, made of beautiful fabrics and is very functional. Textile is an important part in Indian culture, so important even in the spinning wheel that Gandhi wanted to have the flag. More than a million people in India working in the textiles.

The Sari is the most famous garment, made of cotton, silk or the more expensive modern-day plastic. The garment has been best known in the West by the Fairtade shops. The clothing is worn in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

A Sari is a piece of cloth woven with different patterns, from five to seven meters long and one meter wide, which the women after some practice around draping. Ghagra Choli or Lehenga Choli, is one of the traditional, colorful costumes. The nomination consists of a skin tight, richly embroidered top that, with or without sleeves, to above the belly button can see.
